Georgia is a dedicated and compassionate therapist with a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Akron. With over two years of experience in counseling, she is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and specializes in helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence. Passionate about fostering growth and healing, Georgia is committed to providing a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their emotions, strengthen relationships, and become the best versions of themselves. She continually expands her expertise by staying current with the most effective therapeutic approaches and engaging in ongoing Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) training with the team at Married Life. Georgia’s passion for relationship counseling is deeply personal. She moved to Akron in 2018 for college, where she met her husband—the love of her life. Now, after two years of marriage, they share the joys (and occasional chaos) of raising their beautiful son and keeping up with their energetic German Shepherd. When she’s not in the counseling office, you’ll find Georgia enjoying family walks, getting creative with arts and crafts, or unwinding with a good puzzle. She believes that strong relationships are built on trust, communication, and continuous growth—and she’s honored to walk alongside couples and individuals on their journey to more fulfilling, thriving relationships with themselves and others.
