As someone who's lived through many of my own struggles and losses, what has helped me most was having someone talk to who knew what I was feeling without judgment. I’m not here to tell you what you should be doing or could have done differently. I know how unhelpful that is. I understand the aspects you can’t put into words: the hard things, the guilt, the anger, the sadness and anxiety you feel. I find joy in helping others break through barriers to reach their goals, and to find a peaceful and balanced life. It is possible. Before going into private practice, I spent 20 years working with individuals with severe mental health disorders. I have extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma focused interventions, and grief counseling. My education is in Holistic Counseling Psychology, and I believe the mind-body-spirit connection is the guide to healing.
