Clinical Psychologist Gillian Wilson PHD
Available next week
Specialties: PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Attachment Issues, Grief,

Introduction

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who takes a psychodynamic and relational approach, integrated with evidence-based practices, to work empathically and collaboratively with individuals of all ages. I have deep expertise working with trauma and PTSD, interpersonal difficulties, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, stress, and grief. I can also help you navigate challenges with life transitions, work and personal relationships, identity, and parenting. Together, we can engage in an exploration of your past and present experiences with the goal of gaining a deeper understanding of yourself, giving you greater insight and control of your emotions, internal conflicts, and behavior. We will work to identify and shift emotional and behavioral patterns that have stood in the way of your goals and relationships. I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the New School for Social Research and have worked in a variety of psychoanalytic, hospital, university, and private settings. In addition to my clinical work, I am a clinical consultant to doctoral-level psychology students at The Safran Center for Psychological Services affiliated with The New School.
