Welcome. My practice focuses on therapy, coaching, and consulting for Anxiety, Stress, Depression, and Trauma - including family and secondary trauma, compassion fatigue, and health-related issues. With over 20 years of experience in the field of psychology—including executive leadership, private practice, and work in medical settings across multiple states—I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families from a wide range of backgrounds. Whether pursuing personal growth, navigating professional challenges, or seeking emotional well-being and healing, each journey has been unique and deeply meaningful. I hold a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology (now Alliant International University) and was the first intern to complete post-doctoral training at the Hawaii Family Guidance Center in Hilo, Hawaii, part of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Division of the Hawaii Department of Health. I subsequently served on the integrated behavioral health teams at West Hawaii Community Health Center (now Hawaii Island Community Health Center), STRIDE Community Health Center, and the Jefferson Center for Mental Health. Prior to becoming a psychologist, I lived abroad in France (4 months) and Japan (5 years) and worked in international education—experiences that have shaped my global perspective and deepened my ability to connect with diverse individuals and communities. Today, I offer telehealth therapy for adults in Hawaii and Colorado, as well as coaching and consulting services for caregivers and professionals nationwide. While my roots are in child and family work, my current focus is on supporting adults, older adults and caregivers facing complex challenges (often involving children/teens or elderly loved ones), and the professionals who serve them. I help clients clarify their needs, identify resources, navigate obstacles, and gain meaningful, often life-changing, insight into their thoughts, actions, and relationships.
