Gina graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Psychology and has her Master’s in Social Work from Aurora University. She is pursuing advanced licensing in clinical social work. She works with individuals over the age of 16 and couples. Gina specializes in marriage, divorce, parenting, adoption, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, illness, and relationship struggles. She is experienced in working with clients who are Christians and can counsel through a general faith-based lens. She uses a strengths-based approach, trauma-informed care along with Mindfulness Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in her practice. She believes in a holistic approach to healing which incorporates physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual balance. She is a stepmom, biological mom, and adoptive mom to five children (and one soon to be daughter-in-law) from middle school age to adulthood.
