Ginny has been supporting men and women in overcoming addiction since 2004. She believes that, with life, one always has an opportunity to change course regardless of how big the ship. She has the utmost respect for the magnitude of addiction, and she never underestimates a person’s ability to heal and live a satisfying life filled with meaningful connection. Ginny started out as a wilderness guide, wilderness first responder, and instructor for the American Red Cross. Inspired by the profound transformation of her groups in the wilderness, she completed her Master’s Degree at Naropa University in Boulder, CO, founded by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche and rooted in Eastern psychology and mindfulness-based healing modalities. Ginny specialized in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Wilderness Therapy. She is a strong advocate for harnessing the power of the natural world for personal growth, spiritual connection, and deep healing. Ginny is a Licensed Psychotherapist and Master Addictions Counselor (NAADAC) in California, Nevada, Colorado, and is a registered telehealth provider in Florida. She has worked in much of the addiction recovery continuum of care, including Extended Care Residential Treatment, Intensive Family Programs, Intensive Outpatient Programs, Private Practice, Offender Drug Treatment programs, and Executive Coaching.
