My approach to therapy focuses on helping my clients find themselves; I understand the value of self-worth and the practices that embrace and cultivate it without self-absorption. I work collaboratively with clients on their healing journey. I pull from many therapeutic styles depending on what will be the most beneficial to the individual I am working with. I earned my Master’s of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling from the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences at Baruch College. For several years I worked as a therapist for NYC Well, a mental health crisis hotline. I worked with the city's mobile crisis units, the NYPD and hospitals to help treat and triage those in need. Following this period of time, I entered into private practice and continued my training in a Post Graduate Fellowship program. My training included Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills (DBT), Eating Disorder Treatment and System Centered Therapy (SCT).
