In my view, counseling is most effective when perspective is balanced – I tend to ‘zoom in’ on specific thoughts and patterns in thinking while also taking the time to ‘zoom out’ and take a look at the bigger picture. Existentialism is one of the most important aspects of my personal and professional philosophy and is the foundation of the way that I understand and work with clients. Freedom, meaning, and purpose are core concepts that are unique to each individual and bound to come up for discussion in session. Clinical areas of experience and interest include adjustment, grief, loss, and trauma, to name just a few. I am happy to work with adult individuals ages 18 and up. I accept clients for both in-person and telehealth sessions. Feel free to reach out if you think we might be a good fit.
