Introduction

Grace is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in the state of Georgia & works with adult individuals & couples in the Atlanta area. Grace works with clients from a genuine & caring approach, striving to help them feel heard, validated, & supported. She believes relationships (with ourself, friends, family, partner, divine being, etc.) are core to who we are as human beings & has a passion for helping people achieve the relationships they desire. Grace helps clients to gain clarity on their values & beliefs, feel secure and confident in one's self, learn healthy communication and relationship skills, and develop helpful coping strategies. Grace has specialty training in perinatal mental health (pregnancy through postpartum), couples issues, anxiety, religious/spiritual concerns, grief and loss, & developing secure and healthy relationships (with yourself, family, friends, etc.). Grace tailors her therapeutic approach to each client depending on their needs and goals. She commonly uses Emotionally Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and the Gottman Method. In addition to being a licensed therapist, Grace is also an ordained minister. While she doesn't consider herself a Christian Counselor, Grace is uniquely equipped to process faith/spiritual concerns from an informed stance. She works with clients from various religious traditions, spiritual beliefs, and those who have none. She is an LGBTQ+ ally and believes every person deserves to be fully loved and affirmed for who they are.
