I identify as a 2nd-generation Korean-American cis woman and am a mental health therapist with over 8 years of clinical experience working in both community mental health as well as private practice settings in Washington and Georgia states. I work predominantly with BIPOC adult individuals via telehealth and specialize in working with mood disorders, trauma and sexual abuse, family of origin, relationship issues, perfectionism, navigating cultural identity as well as exploring experiences of oppression. I primarily work from a psychodynamic and somatic lens, and integrate a systems approach to how I think about my clients experiences and the various factors that impact their quality of life. I incorporate a wide range of techniques depending on my client’s individual needs. These include coping skills, body-based somatic interventions, narrative depth therapy, and trauma-informed treatment.
