Introduction

If you have ever thought, "I never fit in," or "Why doesn't anyone understand me?" then I would like to work with you. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+, female, and Neurodivergent, folks on issues related to ADHD, depression and trauma. I also specialize in working with clients that have special interests related to comics, gaming, tabletop games and other "nerdy" fandoms. I find that utilizing your passions in our work will make it more interesting, and effective. I believe that systems are in place to maintain the status quo and make it more difficult for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, women, and disabled folks to succeed. Adversity and feeling like "the other" causes distress often causes, or worsens mental illness. I also believe that all people have innate strengths that, when utilized, can help protect them from bias and discrimination. When these strengths are recognized and utilized they can help individuals realize their dreams and goals. Whether you are an exceptionally good writer, an ambitious video gamer, or maybe an excellent listener, I hope to help you call upon your strengths to meet YOUR goals and help YOU feel better. I'm a self-described nerd, LGBTQIA+ Person and Neurodivergent. I use evidenced based practices and particularly love utilizing my client's various fandoms and interests to make therapy more accessible.
