Introduction

I love working with individuals, couples and families who are struggling with emotional difficulties, trauma-related symptoms, and relationship stress. I am a strengths-based therapist with a foundation in empowering you with information, strategies and encouragement to manage your daily routine and overcome circumstantial obstacles. I am committed to helping you embrace the idea that therapy is not about creating something new, but rather building upon your inherent skills, talents and personality traits. My focus is to examine our deeply held beliefs, why they exist, and what purpose they have been serving. That's where we start. I specialize in Trauma Therapies including revolutionary Brainspotting, Polyvagal, and Somatic Experiencing. Brain-centered approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Strengths-Based Therapy. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and am trained in Trauma Informed Yoga Therapy and MBSR.
