Hi! My name is Hannah Penson and I am dedicated to working collaboratively with you to understand your unique needs and to achieve your goals. I earned my bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Georgia State University. The knowledge I gained from my undergraduate studies has provided me with a deeper understanding of human behavior, the influence of social factors on mental health, and how people navigate the complex interactions of their environments. This allows me to approach therapy with a perspective that considers not only the psychological and emotional aspects of your experiences, but also the broader social and cultural contexts as well. As a graduate student at LaGrange College in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I am passionate about fostering a supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, or simply need someone to support you, I am here to listen to you with empathy and respect while also helping you gain insight and tools to navigate life’s challenges. My goal is to provide a compassionate environment where you can feel heard, understood, and valued. I am eager to have the opportunity to walk alongside you through your therapeutic journey! My supervisor’s name is Keisha Reaves at Push Thru Therapy.
