Introduction

Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious or stuck? Is your executive functioning getting closer to executive dysfunction? Is it getting harder to do all the things that day-to-day life requires? Have you been questioning your identity, sexuality, purpose or place in life? You’re not alone, and I’m here to help. No two individuals will benefit from the exact same treatment approach. As a therapist I pull from various therapeutic techniques including but not limited to Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Holistic Therapy to meet each client’s unique needs. Therapy isn’t just about understanding your struggles, it’s about developing the tools to overcome them. In our work together, you’ll learn strategies to identify and regulate emotions, cope with stress and change, communicate your thoughts/feelings/emotions, improve your relationships, and free yourself from harmful thinking patterns and habits. I have over seven years of experience working with children, adolescents, teens, young adults and their families, experiencing a wide range of emotional, social and developmental challenges in academic, outpatient and inpatient settings. Whether you don’t have the words for your feelings at all, or you can only describe them by very specific or obscure tv/book/movie/song references, I will be by your side the whole way. Asking for help can be hard. The fact that you’re reading this right now means you’ve already taken the first step on this journey. Whether you’re hoping to process the past, cope with the present or plan for the future, you’re in the right place and I look forward to meeting you.
