Clients who work with me are typically interested in deepening their understanding of themselves, their sense of resiliency, self-reliance, recovery, and healing. I incorporate mindfulness and holistic principles with an integrative, person-centered, compassionate, and strengths-based approach rooted in psychodynamic psychotherapy. Over time, with trust in the therapeutic alliance, framework, and process, we will explore and seek to understand the self with greater clarity and awareness. Prior to becoming a clinician, I worked as a holistic health practitioner, a classroom and bodywork/yoga teacher, and a nonprofit director. I believe psychotherapy can be a powerful personal asset and an insight-bearing ally at any age, stage, and season of life. Beginning is a beautiful place to be. There is no right approach to therapy; you simply start where you are and have courage for the truth, your own truths, to emerge over time. I hold my clients in unconditional positive regard and meet them where they are, using creative and clinical tools and skills to support the whole person.
