Introduction

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker providing individual, couples and family treatment with Transitions Counseling Services. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental, supportive environment to empower you to be the happier, healthier individual or couple you can be. My strength-based approach allows me to see your abilities rather than disabilities and grow on an existing foundation. Always focusing on the client and our goals, you will find I am nurturing, motivating and compassionately will hold you accountable to take control of your life leading to quick resolution. Influences of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution focused and Acceptance of Commitment therapies enable me to provide you a wide variety of applicable coping skills. I specialize in relationships issues in the context of couples or individual therapy, trauma, grief and loss, substance abuse, transitional youth, adolescents as well as assessment and treatment of mood disorders and other mental illnesses including depression and anxiety. I have been in the mental health field for the past fifteen years and hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from Eastern Washington University and am Certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also have experience using the Gottman method of marital/couples counseling and the Fair Play method. I offer weekday morning and midday telehealth appointments as well as limited in person appointments out of our Franklin office. Thank you for your interest!
