Heather Rubio, M.Ed, LMFT-Associate is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Texas, and is supervised by Christie Farris, LMFT-S LPC-S. She earned her Bachelors of Arts in Animal Behavior with a focus on behavioral neuroscience from Southwestern University, and her Masters of Education in Counseling and Development from Lamar University. Prior to becoming a counselor, she was a high school teacher, and holds a special place in her heart for educators and students. She is also a wife and mother, who understands and values the importance of the relationships a family shares. Heather provides counseling services to individuals, couples, and families dealing with issues such as infidelity, relational stress, infertility, communication, parenting, and the transition to parenthood.
