I have worked with children and families for over 20 years. I started working at a group home for children while in college and then an adolescent psychiatric inpatient unit. After that I interned in a school program for emotionally/behaviorally disturbed children and a community health clinic providing therapy. Once moving to California I worked as a therapist providing individual and family therapy at a school program for emotionally/behaviorally disturbed children. Then I worked at a medi-cal Pediatric outpatient clinic providing crisis intervention, ongoing support and IEP/school assistance. I have worked inpatient at a hospital providing crisis intervention and resources. And currently am an outpatient speciality pediatric social worker. I specialize in helping children and families through life challenges. I provide therapy to children, adolescents, adults and families. My primary focuses are solution based and cognitive behavioral therapy.
