Whether you are just starting to explore ways to improve your mental wellbeing or have been struggling for many years, you don't have to navigate it alone. As an experienced therapist, I have supported college students navigating life transitions, chronic trauma survivors who feel disconnected from the people around them, and high-performing professionals struggling to balance the demands of work and home. I am especially passionate about helping those with neurodivergence (whether formally diagnosed or not) make sense of historical struggles through a non-judgmental, self-compassionate lens. We all want relief from our current symptoms and to have the ability to set and accomplish future goals. Through private telehealth sessions, I help empower men, women, and non-binary adults to do just that. You are a unique individual and therapy should be tailored to best support you. My approach to therapy is always rooted in empathy, compassion, and a genuine curiosity about your unique experiences. We will work together using evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to strengthen coping skills for the symptoms you most wish to address. Once these symptoms feel more manageable, we can then use other empirical therapies like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to identify treatment goals that are built around understanding the impact of your past experiences, current obstacles, and hopes for the future (even if you don't know what those are yet!). I have provided individual therapy for six years. I earned my master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University and my bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology from Tufts University. Everyone can benefit from having a safe and supportive space to tackle symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, life stressors, self-esteem issues, or any other mental health difficulties. I welcome an opportunity to speak with you about your therapy goals and to see if we are a good fit, so please reach out to me via email, or phone (texts are okay too!), or the "request appointment" button above!
