Introduction

Thank you for taking time to read by profile. For the last 13 years I have worked in an outpatient mental health setting meeting with adults dealing with a wide range of mental health symptoms using a variety of interventions. I am a licensed mental health counselor, a nationally certified counselor, and a CASAC (certified alcohol and substance abuse counselor). I know there are times when everyday life can be challenging and overwhelming. Sometimes we need someone to listen and hear what we have to say in a caring, non-judgmental way. You are important and what you are experiencing matters. Unfortunately, here are those occasions where the symptoms are strong and unrelenting. They may be chronic or have come on suddenly and are keeping us from being who we are and who we want to be. Together, in a safe therapeutic setting we will identify needs and goals and collaborate to create an action plan. While it is the clients’ who do most all of the work in therapy, I will accompany you on your journey to provide support, encouragement, and whatever resources are needed for growth and for you to reach your desired goals.
