I have experience supporting clients through relationship and family violence and other complex histories of trauma and mental health challenges. I recognize that creating a safe, non-judgmental space to identify and process the complexities of trauma and the human experience is essential for effective therapy. As a white, cisgendered, heterosexual female, I own my responsibility to name and make space to discuss the past and present violence caused by white supremacy and homophobia. My practice is largely influenced by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy and Eye Movement & Desensitization (EMDR) Therapy My therapeutic style is warm, genuine, and I practice a person-centered approach (which means the client is always the driver in their therapeutic journey). I work with clients ages 12+ (via telehealth). I'm licensed in both Texas and Colorado.
