Welcome! My name is Holly Kepins. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a National Certified Counselor, who provides tailored psychotherapy in an environment that is compassionate, warm, and collaborative. I received my master's degree from Chatham University. Prior to beginning my own private practice, I worked at UPMC's Center for Eating Disorders in the partial and intensive outpatient levels of care. I also trained and volunteered at the Highmark Caring Place, and engaged in training with the Pittsburgh Psychoanalytic Center to gain a greater knowledge of psychodynamic treatment. As a yoga instructor, former professional dancer, and lover of all things movement, I am a firm believer in the mind-body connection. We will look at life from a holistic perspective. Together we work towards empowerment by using strengths that already exist. We can explore possibilities of other tools to create a stronger sense of self, and reorganize aspects of the mind that may be causing more strife than necessary. I am highly trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, and Psychodynamic Therapy. I have an extensive background in treating eating disorders, depression, anxiety, grief, women's issues, and life transitions. Committing to personal growth is challenging, and can be made easier by having a guide that encourages compassion and curiosity in your exploration. I invite you to contact me for a complimentary 15 minute consultation to begin your journey.
