Introduction

Hunter takes an experiential approach to counseling that centers you in the counseling relationship. You can expect to work together with Hunter to create a safe environment for addressing your mental health concerns. Drawing from counseling approaches including Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) Hunter will help you to identify and process internal experiences and emotions with compassion. When we do the difficult work of learning to process our emotions like sadness, anger, and fear to completion, we can live more of our lives in the present. We still feel those difficult emotions, but there can also be so much more room for joy, excitement, and calm emotions.
