Introduction

As a recent graduate from the University of Northern Iowa and a Licensed Master of Social Work, I am excited to serve clients at Nurturing Therapy Services in my hometown Ankeny, Iowa! Throughout our lives, many of us run into internal and external problems that cause us to feel emotions or sensations that make us uncomfortable and leave us feeling stuck. That's where I come in - I utilize a range of techniques that help to identify and process thoughts, feelings, and sensations that cause distress. Addressing these internal conflicts will help create lasting positive change. I serve clients ages 12+ on a number of different issues including depression, anxiety, autism, ADHD, mental health disorders, trauma, grief, neurodivergence, and LGBTQ+ issues. I pull from a wide range of treatment modalities including CBT, psychoeducation, body-centered psychotherapy, somatic experiencing, and more. Reaching out for help is the first step towards healing. I believe that you have what it takes to accomplish your goals, and I am excited to help you on your personal journey towards a better you.
