My name is Ida Ansell, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in New Orleans, LA. I offer an in-depth approach to therapy where we work together to explore the areas of your life and identity in which you struggle. In order to build this type of relationship, I will provide you with a culturally sensitive, open, and accepting environment that enables exploration of experience, being, and consciousness. I have experience working with clients who struggle with addiction, depression & anxiety, relationship & attachment issues, men's issues, LGBTQ+ issues, grief, and trauma. I co-facilitate white racial identity process groups as well as offer individual racial identity coaching for counselors-in-training & educators.
