I believe that creating a warm supportive environment where patients can feel seen and heard is an important ingredient to change. I have extensive experience treating mood disorders, anxiety, childhood trauma, relationship issues, eating disorders, bereavement as well as life transition difficulties. I worked as a Dietitian in hospitals and long term care facilities for 8 years prior to earning my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. My treatment involves a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness based therapy, and Insight-oriented therapy. My primary focus is in treating mental health issues but I incorporate my knowledge of health and nutrition into my practice supporting the mind-body connection.
