LPC stands for Licensed Professional Counselor I graduated from Georgia State University in 1993. Since that time, I have worked in the private practice sector, and also at SummitRidge Psychiatric Hospital. At SummitRidge, I worked on both the adult and adolescent unit. I led a support group for teenagers during that time. I often speak to teacher and school counselor groups on topics related to adolescents and parenting teens. I participate in professional continuing education and have organized a peer consultation group in order to always be learning new skills and stay accountable as a counselor. My clients come from Suwanee, Duluth, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, and Lawrenceville. I believe people usually behave in the best ways they know how. However, sometimes learning better ways of behaving is necessary. When you decide you want to make changes and improvements in your life, let me help.
