Mrs. Ivette Ramos-Celestrin's transformative journey as a survivor of abuse and homelessness propelled her to establish Hope Central Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the impoverished, oppressed, and marginalized members of the community. Her unique life experiences serve as the driving force behind her commitment to connecting individuals with essential services and fostering a path to a healthy life. As a distinguished graduate of Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Sociology, Mrs. Ramos-Celestrin's academic accomplishments are a testament to her dedication and intellectual prowess. Her certification as an Anger Management Specialist, Level II, further underscores her commitment to professional growth. Currently pursuing her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Grand Canyon University, she envisions expanding her impact on the community. Post-graduation, Mrs. Ramos-Celestrin aims to secure her standing with the Florida Department of Health. She will embark on the journey to become a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern, accruing hours toward her Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Specializing in working with clients ages 8 to 65, Mrs. Ramos-Celestrin approaches her practice with an integrative and holistic mindset, guiding her clients toward realizing their fullest potential. Her dedication to professional growth is evident in her pursuit of Play Therapy training, having completed Levels 1-3 in Sand-Tray Training. Currently, she adeptly employs therapeutic techniques such as play, sand tray, and expressive arts with her younger clients while utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for her adult clientele.
