Behavioral and Mental Health Therapy Move Through Counseling
Available this week
Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Abuse Survivors, Abandonment,

Introduction

I have worked with survivors of trauma for almost ten years. As a child survivor of narcissistic and abusive parents myself, I have fallen in love with the work of assisting survivors on their own path to safety, healing, and even joy! I specialize in survivors of narcissistic abuse, especially within adult children of narcissistic parents and intimate partners of narcissists. I also have a love for working with fat-identifying clients who are engaging in the journey toward body acceptance and neutrality. I have a special interest in working with transition aged young adults, 18-27 but also enjoy working above this range as well. I have ample experience working with those impacted by abuse in many different forms. I am EMDR trained and certified and enjoy working on trauma recovery. I love to incorporate different mediums into my practice, including but not limited to art, plants, and body movement. I operate from a radical acceptance model around body neutrality and self-esteem. It is my belief as a therapist that it is not your job to cater to me, but my job to make therapy right for YOU. I believe a collaborative therapeutic process is crucial in creating a lasting and trusting relationship between a therapist and client. You deserve to move through life, not just survive it.
