Introduction

Dr. Bartel specializes in LGBTQA+ and transgender/non-binary healthcare providing letters of support and an affirmative treatment atmosphere, but he is also welcoming of allies who are looking for an individual therapist. In his clinical work Jack enjoys helping patients with habit and lifestyle change focused on smoking cessation, weight management, sleep, chronic pain, and time management/procrastination. He also enjoys helping patients who are having trouble coping or adjusting to medical conditions. He has also worked in many different settings treating general mental illness including anxiety, depression, stress management, and adjustment. Jack is solutions focused, collaborative, and encourages open dialogue. He believes in an open, affirming treatment experience for all. He understands life doesn't always go as planned and hopes to help you feel more balanced, improve quality of life, and live better. In his free time, Dr. Bartel is an avid animal lover (he has a three footed cat and a bunny!). He also enjoys making homemade popcorn, exercise (cycling, yoga, strength, HIIT), Disney, theater, and watches Parks and Recreation as his comfort show.
