I work best with individuals who focus on a journey of integrity versus a supposed destination of perfection. My ideal clients include individuals who are both new to the world of mental health as well as seasoned veterans who are looking to do some serious digging into their sense of self. These individuals are not looking for a cookie cutter version of happiness, but rather an honest exploration of truth and understanding of their own experience. The work is not always pretty, but it is so rewarding. I bring a direct, yet compassionate, approach to therapy. I am a firm believer in the power of utilizing humor and the importance of framing all goals in the reality of the client. I have experience in individual and group outpatient settings as well as acute inpatient environments and am comfortable sitting with clients in their darkest hours. No matter what brings you here, you deserve a life of peace and integrity. My job is to first help you figure out what that truth looks like, then empower you to identify the strengths you have to make that truth a reality. Exploring our sense of self is not always the most comfortable journey, but it is an honor to bear witness to the beauty it provides.
