Introduction

I am a Board-certified Licensed Professional Counselor with a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling. I specialize in providing individual therapy to adults dealing with anxiety, eating disorders, addiction, stress, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, difficult life transitions, relationship issues, and LGBTQIA+ issues. I approach therapy from a Person-Centered perspective and utilize interventions primarily based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy while integrating additional evidence-based treatment interventions and techniques best suited for each client and their particular problem. I believe therapy to be a meaningful relationship between two people and present as my most authentic self, as I am first and foremost, a human being just like you. My goal is to help clients navigate their problems and equip them with healthy practical strategies that will enhance their overall well-being and mental health. I view clients as experts of their own lives and focus on the whole person, not just the ailment. I aim to motivate and empower clients to reach their personal goals by providing an encouraging, understanding, and affirming space to collaborate. If you choose to work with me, I will assist you through your journey of self-exploration, healing, and growth.
