I’m a trans, queer psychotherapist (LCSW) and World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) Certified Member. My clinical practice is dedicated to providing safe, therapeutic space for transgender, queer, and questioning clients. As a dual-state licensed clinician in California and New York my practice, Transcendent Identity Therapy serves to fill a critical need in creating competent, affirming, accessible care for our community and offers a warm environment to explore, process, and repair relationships within the self and with others. My work centers individuals navigating challenges related to coming out, social and medical transition as well as interpersonal, familial, and intimate partner relationship dynamics. My client-therapist alliance centers collaboration, support, and acceptance. Theoretically, I approach our work from psychodynamic, relational, and narrative frameworks. We will explore how your lived experiences impact your internal and external worlds. I work towards actively acknowledging how intersectionality and systems of oppression have deep impact on the lived experience. In empathic space, I work from anti-oppressive and relational-cultural lenses to meet clients where they are and support the processing of trauma, reorganize the prioritization of one’s needs, (re)design boundaries, and care for the self. I cater interventions to the individual and with utilization of diverse therapeutic modalities, hold space and effect change. I’m a sex/kink positive, neurodiverse, poly/CNM, and Health at Every Size (HAES) affirming practitioner
