Introduction

Hi, I’m Jacqueline Kincannon, a professional counselor and founder of Heartland Counseling. I specialize in helping individuals navigate depression, anxiety, and life transitions with compassion, clarity, and practical support. My journey into counseling began in rural Arkansas, where I grew up surrounded by hardworking people, strong values, and a culture that didn’t always leave space for mental health conversations. I moved to Texas to pursue my calling in counseling—driven by a deep desire to help others find hope, healing, and purpose. At Heartland Counseling, I create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your challenges and rediscover your strength. Whether you're facing depression, struggling with relationships, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy and evidence-based care. I use a blend of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered approaches, and psychoeducation to help clients not only feel better but get better—equipping them with tools for long-term emotional resilience. You're not alone. And you don’t have to figure it out all by yourself. Let’s work together to help you reconnect with your heart, your story, and your future. Credentials – Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-Associate) – Texas – Supervised by April West LPC-S – M.A. in Counseling – Our Lady of the Lake University – Specialized training in depression, trauma-informed care, grief, trauma, and family dynamics Let’s Connect If you're ready to take the next step, I’d love to hear from you.
