Our experiences shape our perspectives and influence how we move through our lives. Often new challenges may feel overwhelming and difficult to handle. As your therapist, my goal is to meet you where you are in this process and to provide a safe, supportive, and collaborative relationship to work through your unique needs and challenges. As a systemically oriented therapist I see how our social, cultural, economic, and spiritual experiences impact our lives and mental health. I believe that, while keeping these lenses in mind, within each client lies inherent strengths to draw from towards healing and growth. My goal is to help my client discover and build upon those strengths while also understanding where our reactions and patterns stem from as we work together through a tailored, integrative approach to meet those needs. In this work I draw from many counseling theories, including: Strategic/Structural Therapy, Family Systems Theory, CBT, Narrative, and Attachment Theory.
