Jaime DiMeco

Hello, my name is Jaime DiMeco, and I'm honored that you are here. I have been a psychotherapist since 2018. In that time I’ve had the privilege to use my ongoing education, training, and experience to serve a beautiful spectrum of clients across California with a variety of therapeutic needs and goals. I take a collaborative and whole-person approach with each client. It is my desire to get to know and come alongside you in exploring current challenges, establishing personalized goals, and influencing meaningful change using verified approaches within a safe therapeutic environment. I am passionate about working with individuals of all backgrounds to successfully overcome and heal from the lasting impacts of significant or complex trauma experiences, as well as those suffering through seasons of anxiety, burnout, or depression. I take a gentle and knowledgable, client-paced approach to processing work, ensuring the client feels fully supported, implementing specialized and effective methods, every step of the way. I also bring extensive experience and training in helping the LGBTQAI+ community connect positively to themselves and to others. I'm eager to help clients cultivate safe and nurturing internal relationships both mentally & emotionally, and within their own bodies through an affirming understanding of sexual orientations and providing knowledgable gender affirming care (*to include Letters of Support for gender affirming treatment/procedures). I am especially sensitive to supporting the parents of LGBTQAI+ kids. I value the opportunity to come alongside parents to process their own experience of supporting their children through the 'coming-out' and/or gender transition process. As well as educate parents in understanding the complexity of their child's lived experience and specific needs regarding their identity and developmental stage. Having someone to walk beside, uplift, and equip you to navigate the inevitable ups and downs life presents is a vital resource for us all.
