Introduction

Hi there, I'm Jaime (she/her). I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist practicing in Atlanta, Georgia. My therapy work is grounded in LGBTQIA+ affirming and neurodiversity-affirming practices. I specialize in treating individuals who experience challenges related to their identity, as well as individuals who experience difficulties with emotional regulation, impulse-control, complex trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, mood disorders, and ADHD. I am an integrative and collaborative therapist, incorporating different approaches based upon the needs of each individual client, though much of my work is grounded in a strength-based, relational, and playful approach. My treatment modalities include play therapy, expressive arts therapies, sand tray therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), DBT and CBT techniques. And all the stuff you didn't ask for --I think I am really fun (and funny! usually laugh at my own jokes), I love to read (big fantasy nerd here), I love to learn (and unlearn things that no longer serve me/us), I love to doodle, I love to be active and move my body, I love to travel, and I love to spend time with my favorite humans and my dog (or really any dog).
