Introduction

I have a passion for serving couples, families and individuals who want better relationships and better lives. My focus is on collaboratively doing what works towards achieving each client’s goals, and being affirmative, kind and compassionate every step of the way. While I do have 20+ years of professional experience and post-graduate training, I know that each client is my best teacher, and I am always honored to be chosen for service. I hold post-graduate certifications as an Emotionally Focused Couple and Family Therapy (EFT) practitioner and supervisor, AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) Practitioner and Supervisor in Training, and a Discernment Counselor. I am also a Nationally Certified Diplomat of Clinical Social Work (DCSW) and Certified Clinical Social Work Supervisor. I am also a founding and managing member and the Clinical Director of North Carolina Therapy Professionals, PLLC, a multi-disciplinary humanistic and relationally focused psychotherapy group practice with providers located throughout North Carolina. If I am not available or a good fit, many of our providers are. You can learn more about me at https://www.nctherapists.com/ or https://www.jamesmccrackenlcsw.com/
