Hello, I am Jamie Fister LMFT. As a therapist, I offer a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients to explore and work through their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I understand that seeking therapy can be a difficult step to take, but I believe that with the right support, anyone can make positive changes in their life. I offer online therapy sessions, which allows for flexibility and convenience for my clients. Online therapy eliminates the need for travel, which can be especially helpful for those who have mobility issues or live in remote areas. Additionally, online therapy can be just as effective as in-office therapy, and research has shown that clients who receive online therapy report similar levels of satisfaction and improvement compared to those who receive in-office therapy. In therapy, I use an approach called Mindfulness based Cognitive behavioral Therapy, which is a mindfulness-based approach that helps individuals to focus on the present moment and develop the skills to accept and manage difficult thoughts and emotions. This approach can be especially beneficial for individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, and other emotional or behavioral issues.
