Hello! I'm Jamie (he/they). I'm a licensed clinical social worker living in New York (Seneca land). I'm queer, trans, Latinx, and a misplaced Chicagoan. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ and BIPOC individuals, ranging from adolescence through adulthood. I also often work with educators, both teachers in grades K-12 and in higher education. More often than not, my work is about supporting clients seeking to understand themselves more thoroughly and trying to live more authentic lifestyles. This may look different for each individual as we take a closer look at the patterns they have set up for themselves, the external barriers they're facing, and the generational loops they hope to unweave. Sometimes therapy with me is a classroom for new skills or developing habits to better take care of oneself, and sometimes therapy is a space to explore parts of yourself you can't safely share with anyone else. Be it a place for emotional release and processing or a place to learn skills, I offer a nurturing and safe space for my clients to fill their needs each week.
