It’s important to me that I work with clients as a team while providing a safe, non-judgmental space as they share their broken past, present struggles and future hopes. My style has been described as warm and empathetic. I strive to help clients gain not merely insight, which can be freeing at first, but more importantly a genuine desire to change from within. I have a special bent toward helping those whose lives have been significantly shaped by their traumatic experiences. I utilize mindfulness based practices as well as EMDR, which is an extensively researched form of therapy that has helped countless individuals to make breakthroughs. My work as a therapist began in California where I received my M.A. in Clinical Psychology and worked extensively in community mental health since 2010 helping individuals to overcome chronic and debilitating issues.
