Introduction

Trauma-informed, EMDR certified, telehealth counselor treating adult women and moms with concerns related to pregnancy and postpartum adjustment issues, infertility as well as PTSD. I teach women and moms to care for their mental health while adjusting to parenthood, work/life balance and creating a new identity which merges parts of the old self with the newly formed role of mother. I merge elements of EMDR, Polyvagal Theory, Internal Family Systems and mindful self compassion to conceptualize a treatment plan tailored to individual needs. Group work will often accompany the treatment plan with skills, psychoeducation and building a sense of community and connectedness. Licensed in Illinois and New Jersey.
