Life can be difficult. Despite our best efforts, sometimes we can find ourselves somewhere we never thought we would be. Maybe you have tried to solve your problems on your own, but are frustrated with the lack of progress you have made. Maybe you feel you need another perspective from an unbiased person and are looking to gain clarity. Through the use of cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness practices, I help clients with implementing healthy coping skills, developing self-awareness, and learning positive emotion regulation skills to cope with past and current challenging life experiences. I work best with clients who are motivated to make changes in their lives and gain a deeper understanding of themselves for them to live a life that is truly in alignment with their authentic selves. I have experience working with clients that are looking for support with anxiety, depression, trauma, and life stressors (i.e. relationship issues, stress management, work issues, life purpose, codependency, poor body image, etc.). I am also a Reiki Master and can provide reiki in addition to traditional talk therapy, which can help further treatment progress. I believe that spirituality has a place in healing. Energy work can be a great complementing modality and can help with increasing relaxation and reducing stress, anxiety, depression, and other chronic illnesses. Reiki can also be helpful with identifying, exploring, and releasing negative and unhealthy behavior and thought patterns.
