I chose to pursue a degree in counseling because I genuinely care about people, and I want to serve and help them so they can live meaningful and fulfilling lives. I am comfortable with listening to and supporting others experiencing pain, conflict, grief, or needing someone to listen to them. I work with people struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, aging, grief, PTSD, and career counseling utilizing Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Behavioral therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief therapy modalities. My goal in treatment is to help the client process, gain insight, learn and implement healthy coping strategies, and incorporate what they learn into their lives and relationships.
