I have an intersectional approach to therapy, and view that identities and systems in our world impact how we experience life. There are things within us and outside us that influence different conditions, it is challenging. In therapy we can take a look at ourselves and our history, as well as conditions outside of us that paint the story of our world. How are we existing now, and what comes next? I have a somatic, body-based approach to therapy - meaning that I bring awareness to the physical responses our bodies hold in response to distress. This includes EMDR, and mindful-based practices. I believe in decolonizing our work, and restructuring elements of holistic care to care for our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs. We all go at our own pace, sometimes taking steps forward and back as we go along our journey. I would be thrilled to be part of your journey, and explore ways we can find our stability and strengths to push you forward in life.
