Meet founder and clinical director Dr. Jasmine Santiago-Ataande, a board-certified, bilingual, Spanish-speaking licensed professional counsellor (LPC), and an approved clinical supervisor (ACS). Jasmine received the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) Minority Doctoral Fellowship, making her one of the top twenty doctoral candidates in the United States to receive the distinguished award in 2018. She is also a scholar and Latina entrepreneur in the 40th cohort of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses initiative. Jasmine founded Therapy for the Culture, a private practice offering counseling services for BIPOC and Latinx individuals. The practice is focused on addressing the intersections of culture, therapy, and leadership. Our team is highly trained, compassionate, empathetic, and culturally responsive professionals. We collaborate with our clients to enhance their self-awareness, develop effective coping strategies, and foster personal growth. The team maintains up-to-date knowledge of advanced techniques and relatable and culturally informed practices.
