Hi, I'm Jason. I’m so glad you’ve taken this important step toward prioritizing your mental health. Remember, it’s perfectly okay to seek support, and you’re not alone on this journey. Together, we will explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe, non-judgmental space. Therapy should feel like a conversation but sometimes conversations are hard. That's where I come in. I practice REBT/CBT which can feel different from other therapies. My approach is rational, straightforward, and, most of all, practical. I am licensed in both Indiana and Kansas. I use an evidence-based client-centered therapeutic approach to guide my practice. My goal is to help you understand yourself better, work through challenges, and develop coping strategies that resonate with you. I’m here to support you every step of the way. Thank you for trusting this process. Let’s get started! (Why self-pay and not insurance?) Self-pay can often be more affordable than using insurance for a few reasons. Most importantly self-paying can bypass certain administrative fees and deductibles associated with insurance plans. This can make it easier to access the services you need without the complexity of dealing with insurance approvals or limitations on coverage. At Walls Counseling Services it is $125 with no hidden fees. Clients pay with their health savings account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), or credit card. I can also provide a Super Bill, which may allow you to be reimbursed by your insurance.
