Since obtaining his master degree, Jason has worked in the field of Home Health and Hospice as a social worker, director and administrator of several hospice agencies. He has counseled many clients and families in understanding and coping with terminal illnesses. In addition, he is also experienced in grief counseling, including complicated grief. Jason has extensive background working with a variety of different populations and conditions. Prior to obtaining his master degree, he worked for 13 years at the Utah State Hospital and provided care and support to the mentally ill. He became skilled and proficient in Crisis Interventions and de-escalation strategies and techniques. In addition to his extensive work in the field of Home Health and Hospice and work at the Utah State Hospital, Jason has worked extensively and worked with Adolescents, Men, and Women. He has specialized in area of Pornography Addiction and other Sex Addictions, Anxiety, Depression, Self Esteem and Self Worth issues, and Grief support. Jason utilizes therapeutic strategies in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, EMDR for trauma, Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing.
