Introduction

I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of Utah and a National Certified Counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors. I use a person-centered approach to therapy, in which the relationship between the client and the therapist is the most important part of facilitating change. I utilize interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and change unhealthy thought processes, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to focus on the here-and-now experience, and Reality Therapy to identify an individual’s quality world and align their values and behaviors.
