I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Sex Therapist certified by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapist (AASECT) to assess, diagnose, and treat sexual dysfunction, sexual concerns and mental health issues. I am gender and sexual orientation affirming, kink and polyamory competent, and work affirmatively with those in the sex industry from a client-centered and non-judgmental perspective. I earned my master’s in social work from Eastern Washington University. I’ve been practicing since 2010, and my clinical concentration is sex therapy. My other areas of expertise include relationships, anxiety, communication, anger management and depression. I offer virtual therapy and provide a unique space for motivated, high functioning adult individuals. My objective is to help clients meet their therapeutic goals, provide guidance during difficult times and a safe/nonjudgmental space where we can talk about anything. With me, no topic is off limits. I’m comfortable addressing & working through harmful thoughts & behaviors, shame and talking about sex in detail. I believe that counseling is a collaborative process, and building deep and meaningful client-therapist connections is essential, as this is the catalyst for healing and growth. I am forthcoming in my observations and work best with clients who are open to this. I use an integrated approach and believe in the connection between the body and the mind. My goal is to help you understand those connections, process & clarify what you are experiencing, confront difficult emotions, examine the patterns that drive painful & undesirable habits, uncover familial & environmental contexts that shaped who you are today and help you build skills you can use for life. I promote the normalization and celebration of sexual diversity and guide individuals in the process of discovering, defining, accepting, and reclaiming their sexual identities. I treat sexual health concerns including conflict and miscommunication, sexual functioning issues (erectile dysfunction, sexual pain, anxiety/shame/guilt about sex, orgasmic difficulty, low arousal, loss of sexual interest), exploring kink & consensual non-monogamous relationships, concerns with sexual behavior, sexual dissatisfaction and desire discrepancy. I am currently not accepting new couples but I am accepting new individual clients for sex therapy.
